Summarize with ChatGPT Claude Perplexity

A Shopify product video app puts video on the page where people decide to buy. The label covers very different tools, though. Some turn your TikToks and Reels into shoppable feeds, some collect customer video reviews, some embed a YouTube channel, and one finds videos for products you never filmed. The best Shopify product video app for you depends on where your videos will come from.

Below are seven apps, each ranked for the job it does best. We make the first one, Norlif YouTube Video Finder, and we say where it falls short.

Best Shopify product video apps: quick answer

Norlif YouTube Video Finder (our app) is the best Shopify product video app for adding existing YouTube review and unboxing videos to hundreds of product pages without filming anything (free for 10 videos a month, $5/month for unlimited). For shoppable video across your store, email and SMS with revenue tracking, use Tolstoy (paid plans from $12/month). To host your own clips with page speed in mind, use Videowise (Pro $9/month). To auto-import Instagram Reels and TikToks, use Whatmore (daily sync from $29/month). To turn supplier clips into shoppable videos, use Vimotia (free plan). To show your brand's YouTube channel or playlists, use YouTube Shoppable Videos & UGC by Reputon ($6.99/month). To collect customer video reviews for free, use Judge.me Product Reviews.

What to look for in a product video app

Start with the source. Most video apps assume you already have clips: your own uploads, Reels you posted, or videos customers send in. Without them a shoppable carousel sits empty. Stores that resell other brands are in a different spot, because someone on YouTube has often reviewed the exact item already. For a few products you don't need an app at all. Each product's media section in Shopify takes an uploaded MP4, MOV or WebM file (up to 10 minutes and 1 GB) or a YouTube or Vimeo link, if your theme supports video. Past a few dozen products, finding and pasting every link by hand gets old.

Then check what the app does with the video. A plain embed just plays it. A shoppable player tags products and adds an add-to-cart button, and those apps usually meter views, clicks or impressions, so the bill grows with traffic. Look for lazy loading too, which holds the video back until the shopper scrolls to it.

How we picked

We (Norlif) make Norlif YouTube Video Finder, so read #1 with that in mind. For the other six we searched the Shopify App Store for "product video", "shoppable video", "youtube" and "video reviews", kept apps with at least 100 reviews that win a distinct job, and read each listing's plans and features. AI video makers such as Predis.ai and Vidoo, which generate new clips from your catalog, are left out as a different job, and Firework, which adds live selling to shoppable video, fell under the 100-review cutoff. We did not install every app on this list; facts about the others come from their App Store listings, help centers and pricing pages. Prices and ratings were checked on the Shopify App Store in September 2026.

1. Norlif YouTube Video Finder: best for adding existing YouTube reviews to product pages

Price
Free (10 videos/month); Unlimited $5/month
Shopify App Store rating
No reviews yet
Made by
Norlif

Norlif YouTube Video Finder is a Shopify app that searches YouTube for review and unboxing videos of each of your products and adds the one you approve to the product page. It is built for stores selling branded products that other people already film. The video exists; it just isn't on your page.

You select products, or all of them, and it searches up to 200 a day. For each one you approve a suggested video, swap it for another result or your own YouTube link, or skip it. A theme app block, added once to any Online Store 2.0 theme, shows the video in YouTube's lazy-loaded player, so no files are uploaded to your store. The free plan publishes 10 videos a month and Unlimited is $5 a month. See how YouTube Video Finder works.

The Norlif YouTube Video Finder review screen: five YouTube videos found for a snowboard, with the best match preselected and Preview and Skip this product options
Each product gets a shortlist of matching YouTube videos. Pick one, or skip the product.

The catch: It launched on August 28, 2026 and has no App Store reviews yet. It only finds videos that already exist on YouTube, so private-label and niche products often come back empty, and it is not a shoppable-video, UGC or hosting platform: one video per product, no cart button in the video, no uploads, no analytics.

Who it's for: Stores reselling known brands that want review videos on hundreds of product pages without filming anything or pasting links one by one.

2. Tolstoy: best for shoppable video across store, email and SMS

Price
30-day publishing trial; then from $12/month
Shopify App Store rating
4.7 (274 reviews)
Made by
Tolstoy
Tolstoy on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

Tolstoy is a shoppable video app for Shopify brands that want one video library feeding product pages, the homepage, collections, the Shop app, email and SMS. You import Reels, TikToks and UGC or upload your own, tag products once, and shoppers add to cart from inside the video.

Formats include carousels, stories, feeds, pop-ups and floating videos, and one dashboard tracks views, clicks, add-to-carts and attributed revenue. Starter is $12 a month for 5,000 viewers, Plus is $44 for 20,000 and Pro is $195.

The catch: Pricing is metered by viewers, with extra viewers at $10 per 1,000 on Starter and Plus, so a traffic spike costs money. The free plan is really a 30-day publishing trial: Tolstoy's pricing page says to choose a paid plan after 30 days to keep a widget live.

Who it's for: Brands with a steady supply of social clips that want video to run as a measurable sales channel.

3. Videowise: best for hosting your own videos without slowing pages

Price
Free plan; Pro $9/month
Shopify App Store rating
4.8 (251 reviews)
Made by
Videowise Video Commerce
Videowise on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

Videowise is a shoppable video app for Shopify stores that want one media library for their product videos, with page speed as the priority. You upload files or import from TikTok, Instagram, Google Drive, Dropbox or Meta Ads, edit them in its video editor, and the app compresses each video before serving it.

It has more than 16 widget styles, from stories to video banners, and publishes to the Shop app and TikTok Shop. The free plan covers that publishing, product tagging and hosting. Unlimited shoppable videos on your own site come with Pro at $9 a month.

The catch: Pro includes 5,000 unique widget impressions, and extra impressions cost more. Videowise's website also sells much bigger plans, including a Shoppable Video plan with email, SMS and A/B testing from $299 a month billed monthly.

Who it's for: Stores with their own video library that care about load time and want every clip managed in one place.

4. Whatmore: best for auto-importing Instagram Reels and TikToks

Price
Free plan; paid from $29/month
Shopify App Store rating
4.9 (376 reviews)
Made by
Whatmore
Whatmore on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

Whatmore is a shoppable video app for Shopify stores that already post Reels and TikToks and want them on the store without re-uploading each one. It imports them in one click, syncs daily, and uses AI to match the products shown in each video.

Videos run as carousels, floating widgets, stories, grids, banners or sliders, with lazy loading and adaptive compression, and a built-in Meta Pixel option lets you retarget viewers. The free plan allows 15 videos, 300 video clicks and 5 AI product matches a month. Starter at $29 a month raises that to 100 videos and 3,000 clicks.

The catch: Daily Instagram auto-sync is listed under the $29 Starter plan, so the hands-off part is not free. Every plan on the App Store listing caps video clicks, and 300 a month goes fast on a busy store.

Who it's for: Brands with an active Instagram or TikTok account that want those clips shoppable with little manual work.

5. Vimotia: best for editing supplier clips into shoppable videos

Price
Free plan; paid from $19.99/month
Shopify App Store rating
4.7 (186 reviews)
Made by
Hextom
Vimotia on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

Vimotia is a shoppable video app from Hextom for Shopify stores that work from supplier or social footage rather than their own shoots. Its listing names AliExpress, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok as sources, supplier videos come in when you paste the product link, and the built-in editor trims, cuts and resizes clips and adds music and subtitles.

The player adds buy buttons, discount offers and countdowns, and supports picture-in-picture. The free plan includes import, editing and shoppable video on any page. Basic ($19.99 a month) adds a white-label player, galleries and social feed import, and Pro ($49.99) auto-imports feeds and posts to TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

The catch: The shoppable video gallery and social feed import aren't in the free plan. They start with Basic at $19.99 a month, and auto-importing feeds and advanced analytics need Pro at $49.99.

Who it's for: Stores with supplier videos that need trimming, subtitles and a buy button before they go live.

6. YouTube Shoppable Videos & UGC by Reputon: best for showing your own YouTube channel or playlists

Price
$6.99/month; 7-day free trial
Shopify App Store rating
4.9 (107 reviews)
Made by
Reputon
YouTube Shoppable Videos & UGC by Reputon on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

YouTube Shoppable Videos & UGC by Reputon is a Shopify app for brands that publish on YouTube and want their channel, playlists, Shorts or single videos on the store. Reputon's own site calls it Reputon YouTube Video Gallery. You paste a URL and it builds a grid, carousel or slider.

The Standard plan costs $6.99 a month and includes unlimited widgets, auto sync and YouTube shoppable videos. The difference from Norlif YouTube Video Finder is the source: YouTube Shoppable Videos & UGC by Reputon shows the channels and links you choose, while Norlif YouTube Video Finder searches for other people's videos of each product. Elfsight YouTube Video Gallery is a similar option at $5.99 a month (4.7 from 17 reviews).

The catch: The free tier is for development stores only, so a live store pays once the 7-day trial ends. Its listing describes pasting a channel, playlist or video URL, not searching YouTube for videos of your products.

Who it's for: Brands with their own YouTube channel that want it on the store for a few dollars a month.

7. Judge.me Product Reviews: best for collecting customer video reviews for free

Price
Free plan; Awesome $15/month
Shopify App Store rating
5.0 (47,253 reviews)
Made by
Judge.me
Judge.me Product Reviews on the Shopify App Store (opens in a new tab)

Judge.me Product Reviews is a reviews app for Shopify stores that want buyers, not the brand, to supply the video. Its Forever Free plan includes unlimited photo and video reviews, a review widget, video carousels and Google rich snippets.

A shaky phone clip from a real customer answers something a polished brand video can't: does it look like this when it arrives? The Awesome plan, at $15 a month, adds AI replies, summaries and translations, 16 widgets, and Meta and TikTok Shop sync.

The catch: You only get the videos customers bother to film, so products with few orders may never get one. The clips show in review widgets and carousels, and Judge.me's plans don't list the in-video add-to-cart of the shoppable apps above.

Who it's for: Stores with steady order volume that want real customer videos next to their reviews without paying for a video app.

Which Shopify product video app should you pick?

If this is you Pick

Frequently asked questions

What is the best product video app for Shopify?

Norlif YouTube Video Finder (our app) is the pick for existing YouTube reviews on many product pages, Tolstoy for shoppable video with revenue tracking, Whatmore for syncing Reels and TikToks, and Judge.me Product Reviews for free customer video reviews.

Can I add a YouTube video to a Shopify product page without an app?

Yes. Each product's media section in the Shopify admin accepts a YouTube or Vimeo link, or an uploaded MP4, MOV or WebM file up to 10 minutes and 1 GB, if your theme supports video. You add each one by hand, so an app only pays off across many products.

Can I show other people's YouTube videos on my product pages?

Yes, when the owner allows embedding. YouTube lets anyone embed a public video with its player unless the owner turns off "Allow embedding" in YouTube Studio. The video keeps playing from YouTube under the creator's channel. Downloading and re-uploading it is different: YouTube's terms require permission from YouTube and the rights holder.

What is a shoppable video on Shopify?

A shoppable video has products tagged inside the player, so shoppers can add the item to cart without leaving the video. Tolstoy, Videowise, Whatmore and Vimotia all do this. A plain YouTube embed, like the ones Norlif YouTube Video Finder (our app) publishes, plays the video but has no cart button.

Do video apps slow down a Shopify store?

They can, since video is often the heaviest thing on a product page. Look for lazy loading, which waits until the shopper scrolls to the video, and compression. Whatmore lists both, Videowise compresses videos before serving them, and Norlif YouTube Video Finder (our app) lazy-loads its embeds.

How much does a Shopify product video app cost?

Most have a free plan. Paid plans on the Shopify App Store listings in this guide run from $5 a month (Unlimited on Norlif YouTube Video Finder, our app) to $195 a month (Tolstoy Pro), and some vendor sites sell bigger plans. Shoppable video apps usually meter viewers, clicks or impressions, so the price rises with traffic.
